The one sitting in the secret place of the Most High, in the shade of Shaddai he will abide. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of YHWH: “My refuge and my stronghold, My God, I trust in Him!” I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Surely He will snatch you from the snare of the trapper, from the plague of calamity. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
With His pinions He will give cover for you, and under His wings you will take refuge; a shield and buckler is His faithfulness. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, or of the arrow that flies by day, You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
from the plague that walks in the darkness, or from the pestilence that destroys at noon. nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, and a multitude at your right hand—it shall not draw near to you. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
But with your eyes you shall look, and you shall see the reward of the wicked. You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
Because You, O YHWH are my refuge; the Most High you have made your dwelling place. Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge— If you say, “The LORD is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling,
Evil shall not meet with you, and plague shall not come near, by your tent. no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
Upon the hands they shall lift you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
Upon the lion and cobra you will tread; you will trample the young lion and the serpent. You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
“Because in Me he has delighted, so will I rescue him; I will set him up high because he has known My Name. “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on Me and I will answer him; I am with him in distress; I will deliver him and honor him. When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
With length of days I will satisfy him, and cause him to look on My salvation.” With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”
