1 Of David. Do not fret over those who do evil; do not envy those who do wrong. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! Of David. Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender plants. For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

25 I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread. I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.
