Not to us, O LORD, not to us! But to your name bring honor, for the sake of your loyal love and faithfulness. Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
Why should the nations say, |Where is their God?| Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”
Our God is in heaven! He does whatever he pleases! Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
Their idols are made of silver and gold--they are man-made. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. But their idols are silver and gold, made by human hands.
They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see, They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.
ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell, They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell. They have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell.
hands, but cannot touch, feet, but cannot walk. They cannot even clear their throats. They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. They have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but cannot walk, nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
Those who make them will end up like them, as will everyone who trusts in them. Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.
O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector. O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. All you Israelites, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
O family of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. House of Aaron, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
You loyal followers of the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their deliverer and protector. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. You who fear him, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
The LORD takes notice of us, he will bless--he will bless the family of Israel, he will bless the family of Aaron. The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron; The LORD remembers us and will bless us: He will bless his people Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,
He will bless his loyal followers, both young and old. he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great. he will bless those who fear the LORD— small and great alike.
May he increase your numbers, yours and your children's! May the LORD give you increase, you and your children! May the LORD cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
May you be blessed by the LORD, the creator of heaven and earth! May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth! May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
The heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind. The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man. The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.
The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any of those who descend into the silence of death. The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence. It is not the dead who praise the LORD, those who go down to the place of silence;
But we will praise the LORD now and forevermore. Praise the LORD! But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD! it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
