<V 113:9>Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory. Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
<V 113:10>Give glory to your mercy and your truth, lest the Gentiles should say, “Where is their God?” Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”
<V 113:11>But our God is in heaven. All things whatsoever that he has willed, he has done. Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
<V 113:12>The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. But their idols are silver and gold, made by human hands.
<V 113:13>They have mouths, and do not speak; they have eyes, and do not see. They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.
<V 113:14>They have ears, and do not hear; they have noses, and do not smell. They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell. They have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell.
<V 113:15>They have hands, and do not feel; they have feet, and do not walk. Neither will they cry out with their throat. They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. They have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but cannot walk, nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
<V 113:16>Let those who make them become like them, along with all who trust in them. Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.
<V 113:17>The house of Israel has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector. O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. All you Israelites, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
<V 113:18>The house of Aaron has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. House of Aaron, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
<V 113:19>Those who fear the Lord have hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. You who fear him, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
<V 113:20>The Lord has been mindful of us, and he has blessed us. He has blessed the house of Israel. He has blessed the house of Aaron. The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron; The LORD remembers us and will bless us: He will bless his people Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,
<V 113:21>He has blessed all who fear the Lord, the small with the great. he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great. he will bless those who fear the LORD— small and great alike.
<V 113:22>May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your sons. May the LORD give you increase, you and your children! May the LORD cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
<V 113:23>Blessed are you by the Lord, who made heaven and earth. May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth! May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
<V 113:24>The heaven of heaven is for the Lord, but the earth he has given to the sons of men. The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man. The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.
<V 113:25>The dead will not praise you, Lord, and neither will all those who descend into Hell. The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence. It is not the dead who praise the LORD, those who go down to the place of silence;
<V 113:26>But we who live will bless the Lord, from this time forward, and even forever. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD! it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
