Song of chanting to David. My heart being prepared, O God, I will sing and play on the harp, also mine honor. My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being! A song. A psalm of David. My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, lyre and harp: I will awake early. Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise thee among the people of Jehovah, and I will play on the harp in the nations. I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations. I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great above the heavens thy mercy, and even to the clouds thy truth. For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God: and over all the earth, thy glory; Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth! Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth.
So that thy beloved ones shall be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer us. That your beloved ones may be delivered, give salvation by your right hand and answer me! Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
God shake in his holy place; I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and I will measure the valley of tents. God has promised in his holiness: “With exultation I will divide up Shechem and portion out the Valley of Succoth. God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
To me Gilead; to me Manasseh; and Ephraim, the fortress of my head, and Judah my judge. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter.
Moab the pot of my washing; upon Edom I will cast my shoe; over Philistia will I shout for joy. Moab is my washbasin; upon Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph.” Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
Who will bring me to the city of fortification? who guide me even to Edom? Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Will not God? Thou didst cast us off, and wilt thou not go forth, O God, with our armies? Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies. Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
Give to us help from straits: and vain the salvation of man. Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man! Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless.
In God we shall do strength, and he will tread down our enemies. With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
