| 48 | ὁ ἀθετῶν ἐμὲ καὶ μὴ λαμβάνων τὰ ῥήματά μου ἔχει τὸν κρίνοντα αὐτόν ὁ λόγος ὃν ἐλάλησα ἐκεῖνος κρινεῖ αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ἐσχάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ | The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. | There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. | |
| 49 | Ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐξ ἐμαυτοῦ οὐκ ἐλάλησα ἀλλ’ ὁ πέμψας με Πατὴρ αὐτός μοι ἐντολὴν δέδωκεν τί εἴπω καὶ τί λαλήσω | For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak. | For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken. | |
