The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,

Strengthen the limp hands and make firm the feeble knees. Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
Say to the hastened of heart, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold your⁺ God—He comes with vengeance, with the recompense of God He will come and save you⁺.” Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.” say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped; Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped; Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
then the lame one will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute one will sing. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, and torrents in the desert plain; then shall the lame man leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute sing for joy. For waters break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert; Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
and the parched ground will become like a pool, and the thirsty land like springs of water; in the abode where jackals once lay, will be grass with reeds and papyrus. the burning sand shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lie down, the grass shall become reeds and rushes. The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
And a highway will be there, and a way, and it will be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean will not pass over it, and it is for those walking the Way, and fools will not wander it. And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray. And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.
No lion will be there, and the violent beasts will not go up on it; it will not be found there, but the redeemed will walk it. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast come up on it; they shall not be found there, but the redeemed shall walk there. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
And the ransomed of YHWH will return, and will they will enter Zion with singing, and with joy everlasting on their heads; joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.
