1 After we tore ourselves away from them, we set sail straight for Cos, the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. And when we had parted from them and set sail, we came by a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara. 13 Then Paul replied, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be imprisoned but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
14 Since he would not be persuaded, we said no more except, “The Lord’s will be done.” And since he would not be persuaded, we ceased and said, “Let the will of the Lord be done.” When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”
15 After this we got ready and went up to Jerusalem. After these days we got ready and went up to Jerusalem. After this, we started on our way up to Jerusalem.
16 Some of the disciples from Caesarea also went with us and brought us to Mnason of Cyprus, an early disciple, with whom we were to stay.
