1 Asa’s son Jehoshaphat reigned in his place, and he strengthened himself against Israel. Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place and strengthened himself against Israel. 6 And his heart took delight in the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and Asherah poles from Judah. His heart was courageous in the ways of the LORD. And furthermore, he took the high places and the Asherim out of Judah. And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah. He took great pride in the ways of the LORD, and again removed the high places and the Asherim from Judah. His heart was devoted to the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and the Asherah poles from Judah.
