Psalm 130
NLT Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationEnglish Standard Version
1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.1Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD!
2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.2O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy!
3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?3If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.4But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.
5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.5I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope;
6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.6my soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.7O Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.
8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.8And he will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
