Psalm 110
NIV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionEnglish Standard Version
1Of David. A psalm. The LORD says to my lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."1The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”
2The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying, "Rule in the midst of your enemies!"2The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
3Your troops will be willing on your day of battle. Arrayed in holy splendor, your young men will come to you like dew from the morning's womb.3Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.
4The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."4The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.”
5The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.5The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.
6He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.6He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.
7He will drink from a brook along the way, and so he will lift his head high.7He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
