NASB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New American Standard Bible 1995English Standard Version
A Psalm of Asaph. God takes His stand in His own congregation; He judges in the midst of the rulers.1God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:
How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
Vindicate the weak and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.3Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
Rescue the weak and needy; Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.4Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
They do not know nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.5They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I said, "You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.6I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you;
"Nevertheless you will die like men And fall like any one of the princes."7nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.”
Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You who possesses all the nations.8Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
