Psalm 130
KJV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew Living Translation
1A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
