Psalm 130
KJV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleNew International Version
1A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.1A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;
2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.2Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
3If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?3If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.4But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.5I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.6I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.7Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.8He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
