Psalm 121
ISV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionKing James Bible
1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?1A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.2My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.5The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
