Psalm 121
ISV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNET Bible
1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?1A song of ascents. I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come?
2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, the Creator of heaven and earth!
3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.3May he not allow your foot to slip! May your protector not sleep!
4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.4Look! Israel's protector does not sleep or slumber!
5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.5The LORD is your protector; the LORD is the shade at your right hand.
6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.6The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night.
7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.7The LORD will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life.
8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.8The LORD will protect you in all you do, now and forevermore.
