Psalm 121
ISV Parallel NIV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew International Version
1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?1A song of ascents. I lift up my eyes to the mountains-- where does my help come from?
2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.3He will not let your foot slip-- he who watches over you will not slumber;
4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.4indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.5The LORD watches over you-- the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.6the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.7The LORD will keep you from all harm-- he will watch over your life;
8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.8the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
