Psalm 121
ISV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionEnglish Standard Version
1I lift up my eyes toward the mountains— from where will my help come?1I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
2My help is from the LORD, maker of heaven and earth.2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3He will never let your foot slip, nor will your guardian become drowsy.3He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.
4Look! The one who is guarding Israel never sleeps and does not take naps.4Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your guardian; the LORD is your shade at your right side.5The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
6The sun will not ravage you by day, nor the moon by night.6The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD will guard you from all evil, preserving your life.7The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life.
8The LORD will guard your goings and comings, from this time on and forever.8The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
