Psalm 122
ISV Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionKing James Bible
1I rejoiced when they kept on asking me, "Let us go to the LORD's Temple."1A Song of degrees of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2Our feet are standing inside your gates, Jerusalem.2Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
3Jerusalem stands built up, a city knitted together.3Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
4To it the tribes ascend— the tribes of the LORD— as decreed to Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.4Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD.
5For thrones are established there for judgment, thrones of the house of David.5For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6Pray for peace for Jerusalem: "May those who love you be at peace! 6Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7May peace be within your ramparts, and prosperity within your fortresses."7Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
8For the sake of my relatives and friends I will now say, "May there be peace within you."8For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
9For the sake of the Temple of the LORD our God, I will seek your welfare.9Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
