| 2Then I saw another angel, who had the seal of the living God rise up from the east. | 9After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. | 14I said to him, "Sir, you know." Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. | 15For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His sanctuary. The One seated on the throne will shelter them: | 15“Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. |
| 16They will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any heat. | 16They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. |
| 17For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; He will guide them to springs of living waters, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. | 17For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” |
