Leviticus 26:1
Good News Translation
The LORD said, "Do not make idols or set up statues, stone pillars, or carved stones to worship. I am the LORD your God.

New Revised Standard Version
You shall make for yourselves no idols and erect no carved images or pillars, and you shall not place figured stones in your land, to worship at them; for I am the LORD your God.

Contemporary English Version
I am the LORD your God! So don't make or worship idols or images.

Do not make idols for yourselves. You shall not erect a carved image or a sacred stone for yourselves, nor shall you set up a carved stone for worship in your land; for I, the LORD, am your God.
