Good News Translation
They said to me, 'We don't know what has happened to this man Moses, who brought us out of Egypt; so make us a god to lead us.'

New Revised Standard Version
They said to me, ‘Make us gods, who shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.’

Contemporary English Version
They even told me, "That man Moses led us out of Egypt, but now we don't know what has happened to him. Make us a god to lead us."
