Judgment on Moab, Judah and Israel

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Moab, even for four, I will not relent. Because he burned to ashes the bones of Edom's king,1Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because he burned to lime the bones of the king of Edom.1Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Moab and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime.1Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:1The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Moab for three crimes, even four, because he burned the bones of the king of Edom to lime.
I will send fire on Moab that will consume the fortresses of Kerioth. Moab will go down in great tumult amid war cries and the blast of the trumpet.2So I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the strongholds of Kerioth, and Moab shall die amid uproar, amid shouting and the sound of the trumpet;2"So I will send fire upon Moab And it will consume the citadels of Kerioth; And Moab will die amid tumult, With war cries and the sound of a trumpet.2But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:2Therefore, I will send fire against Moab, and it will consume the citadels of Kerioth. Moab will die with a tumult, with shouting and the sound of the ram's horn.
I will destroy her ruler and kill all her officials with him," says the LORD.3I will cut off the ruler from its midst, and will kill all its princes with him,” says the LORD.3"I will also cut off the judge from her midst And slay all her princes with him," says the LORD.3And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith the LORD.3I will cut off the judge from the land and kill all its officials with him. The LORD has spoken.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Judah, even for four, I will not relent. Because they have rejected the law of the LORD and have not kept his decrees, because they have been led astray by false gods, the gods their ancestors followed,4Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have rejected the law of the LORD, and have not kept his statutes, but their lies have led them astray, those after which their fathers walked.4Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Judah and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they rejected the law of the LORD And have not kept His statutes; Their lies also have led them astray, Those after which their fathers walked.4Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:4The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Judah for three crimes, even four, because they have rejected the instruction of the LORD and have not kept His statutes. The lies that their ancestors followed have led them astray.

I will send fire on Judah that will consume the fortresses of Jerusalem."5So I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the strongholds of Jerusalem.”5"So I will send fire upon Judah And it will consume the citadels of Jerusalem."5But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.5Therefore, I will send fire against Judah, and it will consume the citadels of Jerusalem.
This is what the LORD says: "For three sins of Israel, even for four, I will not relent. They sell the innocent for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals.6Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they sell the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals—6Thus says the LORD, "For three transgressions of Israel and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they sell the righteous for money And the needy for a pair of sandals.6Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;6The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Israel for three crimes, even four, because they sell a righteous person for silver and a needy person for a pair of sandals.
They trample on the heads of the poor as on the dust of the ground and deny justice to the oppressed. Father and son use the same girl and so profane my holy name.7those who trample the head of the poor into the dust of the earth and turn aside the way of the afflicted; a man and his father go in to the same girl, so that my holy name is profaned;7"These who pant after the very dust of the earth on the head of the helpless Also turn aside the way of the humble; And a man and his father resort to the same girl In order to profane My holy name.7That pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane my holy name:7They trample the heads of the poor on the dust of the ground and block the path of the needy. A man and his father have sexual relations with the same girl, profaning My holy name.
They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. In the house of their god they drink wine taken as fines.8they lay themselves down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge, and in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.8"On garments taken as pledges they stretch out beside every altar, And in the house of their God they drink the wine of those who have been fined.8And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.8They stretch out beside every altar on garments taken as collateral, and in the house of their God, they drink wine obtained through fines.

The Ingratitude of Israel

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
"Yet I destroyed the Amorites before them, though they were tall as the cedars and strong as the oaks. I destroyed their fruit above and their roots below.9“Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars and who was as strong as the oaks; I destroyed his fruit above and his roots beneath.9"Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, Though his height was like the height of cedars And he was strong as the oaks; I even destroyed his fruit above and his root below.9Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.9Yet I destroyed the Amorite as Israel advanced; his height was like the cedars, and he was as sturdy as the oaks; I destroyed his fruit above and his roots beneath.
I brought you up out of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness to give you the land of the Amorites.10Also it was I who brought you up out of the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.10"It was I who brought you up from the land of Egypt, And I led you in the wilderness forty years That you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.10Also I brought you up from the land of Egypt, and led you forty years through the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite.10And I brought you from the land of Egypt and led you 40 years in the wilderness in order to possess the land of the Amorite.
"I also raised up prophets from among your children and Nazirites from among your youths. Is this not true, people of Israel?" declares the LORD.11And I raised up some of your sons for prophets, and some of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not indeed so, O people of Israel?” declares the LORD.11"Then I raised up some of your sons to be prophets And some of your young men to be Nazirites. Is this not so, O sons of Israel?" declares the LORD.11And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.11I raised up some of your sons as prophets and some of your young men as Nazirites. Is this not the case, Israelites? This is the LORD's declaration.
"But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.12“But you made the Nazirites drink wine, and commanded the prophets, saying, ‘You shall not prophesy.’12"But you made the Nazirites drink wine, And you commanded the prophets saying, 'You shall not prophesy!'12But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.12But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets," Do not prophesy."

"Now then, I will crush you as a cart crushes when loaded with grain.13“Behold, I will press you down in your place, as a cart full of sheaves presses down.13"Behold, I am weighted down beneath you As a wagon is weighted down when filled with sheaves.13Behold, I am pressed under you, as a cart is pressed that is full of sheaves.13Look, I am about to crush you in your place as a wagon full of sheaves crushes grain.
The swift will not escape, the strong will not muster their strength, and the warrior will not save his life.14Flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not retain his strength, nor shall the mighty save his life;14"Flight will perish from the swift, And the stalwart will not strengthen his power, Nor the mighty man save his life.14Therefore the flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:14Escape will fail the swift, the strong one will not prevail by his strength, and the brave will not save his life.
The archer will not stand his ground, the fleet-footed soldier will not get away, and the horseman will not save his life.15he who handles the bow shall not stand, and he who is swift of foot shall not save himself, nor shall he who rides the horse save his life;15"He who grasps the bow will not stand his ground, The swift of foot will not escape, Nor will he who rides the horse save his life.15Neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver himself: neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself.15The archer will not stand his ground, the one who is swift of foot will not save himself, and the one riding a horse will not save his life.
Even the bravest warriors will flee naked on that day," declares the LORD.16and he who is stout of heart among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day,” declares the LORD.16"Even the bravest among the warriors will flee naked in that day," declares the LORD.16And he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith the LORD.16Even the most courageous of the warriors will flee naked on that day-- this is the LORD's declaration.
