1And then Moses climbed up Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land - from Gilead to Dan, 2All Naphtali, the land of Ephraim, Manasseh, and all the land of Judah - to the Mediterranean Sea, 3The Negev, the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, to Zoar. 4And the LORD said to Moses, This is the land which I promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants. I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you shall not go over there.

5And so Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab, as the LORD had said. 6And the LORD buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, that faces Beth-peor; but no man knows where his grave is to this day. 7Moses was a hundred twenty years old when he died; yet his eye was not dim, nor his natural strength diminished. 8And the Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. 9And Joshua, son of Nun, was full of the Spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him. And the children of Israel obeyed Joshua, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses.

10And since that time, there arose no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, 11Who did all those miraculous signs and wonders, which the LORD sent him to do to Pharaoh, to his servants, and to all the land of Egypt 12And no one has ever shown all that mighty power, and the awesome deeds which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel.
