1 God of vengeance, O YHWH, O God of vengeance, shine forth! 2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth! Return a recompense on the proud. 3 Until when will the wicked, O YHWH, until when will the wicked exult? 4 They pour out words of arrogance; all the workers of iniquity boast in themselves. 5 Your people, O YHWH, they crush, and Your heritage they afflict. 6 The widow and the foreigner they kill, and the fatherless they murder. 7 And they say, “Yah does not see, and the God of Jacob does not discern.” 8 Discern, O senseless among the people!
