And while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.

And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation.

And they put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.

And YHWH said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside of the camp.”

And all the congregation brought him to the outside of the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as YHWH had commanded Moses.

And YHWH again spoke to Moses, saying,

“Speak to the sons of Israel and tell them to make for themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put in the tassels of the corners a blue thread.

And you? shall have the tassel, that you? may look upon it and remember all the commandments of YHWH and do them, and that you? do not follow after your? own heart and your? own eyes, after them to which you? are inclined to prostitute yourselves.

Then you? will remember and do all My commandments, and you? shall be holy unto your? God.

I am YHWH your? God, who brought you? out of the land of Egypt to be your? God; I am YHWH your? God.”
