Par

even so ye, when ye see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors.

Verily I say to you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things come to pass.

The heaven and the earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

But concerning that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of Heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

For as the days of Noe were , so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.

For, as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day on which Noe entered into the ark,

and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Then two men will be in the field; one is carried off, and one is left behind;

two women will be grinding at the mill, one is carried off, and one is left behind.

Watch ye, therefore, because ye know not in what day your Lord is coming.

But know this, that, had the householder known at what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.

Therefore, be ye also ready; for, in an hour that ye think not, the Son of Man is coming.

"Who, then, is the faithful and wise servant whom his lord set over his household, to give them their food in season?

Happy is that servant whom his lord, when he comes, shall find so doing.

Verily I say to you, that he will appoint him over all his possessions.

But, if that evil servant shall say in his heart, 'My lord is delaying,'

and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;

the lord of that servant will come in a day when he is not expecting him , and in an hour when he knows not,

and will cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. There will be the weeping, and the gnashing of teeth!"
