1 And having come, the Pharisees and Sadducees, testing Him, asked Him to show them a sign out of heaven. 2 And answering, He said to them, “Evening having come, you? say, ‘Fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today a storm, for the sky is red, being overcast.’ Indeed, you? know to discern the face of the sky, but the signs of the times you? are not able. 4 An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and a sign will not be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” And having left them, He went away. 5 And the disciples, having come to the other side, forgot to take loaves. 6 And Jesus said to them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” 7 And they were reasoning among themselves, saying, “Because we took no loaves.” 8 But having known this, Jesus said, “Why do you? reason among yourselves, O little of faith, that you? have no loaves? 9 Do you? not yet perceive? Nor do you? remember the five loaves for the five thousand and how many hand-baskets you? took up, 10 nor the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you? took up?
