57 But he denied, saying, "I do not know Him, woman." 58 And, after a little while, another, seeing him, said, "You also are one of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not." 59 And, about one hour having intervened, a certain other was confidently insisting, saying, "Of a truth this one also was with Him; for he also is a Galilaean." 60 But Peter said, "Man, I know not what you are saying." And immediately, while he was yet speaking, a cock crowed. 61 And, turning, the Lord looked upon Peter: and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He said to him, "Before a cock shall crow to-day, you will thrice deny Me." 62 And, going forth without, he wept bitterly.
