57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know Him.” 58 And after a little, having seen him, another was saying, “You also are of them.” But Peter was saying, “Man, I am not.” 59 And about one hour having elapsed, a certain other strongly affirmed it, saying, “Of a truth, this one also was with Him; for he is also a Galilean.” 60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you say.” And immediately in his still speaking, a rooster crowed. 61 And having turned, the Lord looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.” 62 And having gone forth outside, he wept bitterly.
