13 And it came to pass in the one and six hundredth year, in the first month, on the first of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark, and he looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, the earth was dried. 15 And God spoke to Noah, saying, 16 “Go forth from the ark, you, and your wife, and your sons, and the wives of your sons with you. 17 Every living thing that is with you—all flesh, the bird, and the livestock, and every crawling thing that crawls on the earth—bring out with you, and let them swarm on the earth and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and the wives of his sons with him. 19 And every animal, every crawling thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth, according to their families, they went forth from the ark. 20 And Noah built an altar to YHWH. And he took from every clean animal and from every clean bird, and he offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And YHWH smelled the pleasing aroma, and YHWH said in His heart, “I will not continue to curse anymore the ground on account of mankind, though the inclination of the heart of man is evil from his youth. I will not continue anymore to destroy every living thing, as I have done. 22 Throughout all the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:13-22, Berean Literal Bible.
