And they brought the ark of God and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it, and they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the face of God.

And David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, and he blessed the people in the name of YHWH.

And he distributed to each man of Israel, from man and to woman, to everyone a cake of bread, and a date cake, and a raisin cake.

And he put before the face of the ark of YHWH some of the Levites to minister, and to commemorate, and to thank, and to praise YHWH, God of Israel:

Asaph was the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with stringed instruments and harps; and Asaph sounded with cymbals.

And Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests regularly blew the trumpets before the face of the ark of the covenant of God.

On that day then David delivered at the beginning to give thanks to YHWH by the hand of Asaph and his brothers:

“Give thanks to YHWH, Call upon His name, make known among the peoples His deeds.

Sing to Him, sing praises to Him, tell of all His wonders.

Glory in His holy name; let rejoice the hearts of those seeking YHWH.

Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.

Remember His wonders that He has done, His wonders and the ordinances of His mouth,

O seed of Israel His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

He is YHWH our God; in all the earth are His judgments.

Remember His covenant forever, the word He commanded to a thousand generations—

that He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac.

And He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant,

saying, ‘To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion of your? inheritance.’

When you? were few in number, indeed few, and sojourners in it,

then they wandered from nation to nation and from a kingdom to another people.

He permitted no man to oppress them, and He rebuked kings on their behalf:

‘Do not touch My anointed ones, and My prophets do not harm.’

Sing to YHWH, all the earth. Proclaim His salvation day after day.

Declare among the nations His glory, among all the peoples His wonders.
