1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we boast in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but also we boast in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, perseverance, character; and character, hope.

6 Still indeed Christ, in our still being weak, according to the right time, died for the ungodly. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For hardly anyone will die for a righteous man, though for the good man perhaps someone would even dare to die. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love to us, that in our being still sinners, Christ died for us. but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Therefore much more, having been justified now by His blood, we will be saved by Him from wrath! Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
10 For if, being enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we will be saved in His life! For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
11 And not only so, but also we are boasting in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received reconciliation. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12 Because of this, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, so also death passed through to all men, because all sinned. Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
13 For until the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not imputed, there being no law. for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.
14 Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those not having sinned in the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of the coming One. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15 But not as the trespass, so also is the gracious gift; for if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more the grace of God and the gift in grace, that of the one man, Jesus Christ, abounded to the many! But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16 And not as through one having sinned is the gift; for indeed the judgment out of one is to condemnation; but the gracious gift out of many trespasses is to justification. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.
17 For if, by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ! For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 So then, just as through one trespass is condemnation to all men so also through one righteous act is justification of life to all men. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 And the law entered so that the trespass might abound; but where sin abounded, grace overabounded, Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
