A psalm; a song for the Sabbath day. It is fitting to thank the LORD, and to sing praises to your name, O sovereign One! It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High; A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High,

to the accompaniment of a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, to the accompaniment of the meditative tone of the harp. to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre. to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.
For you, O LORD, have made me happy by your work. I will sing for joy because of what you have done. For you, O LORD, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy. For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD; I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
How great are your works, O LORD! Your plans are very intricate! How great are your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep! How great are your works, LORD, how profound your thoughts!
The spiritually insensitive do not recognize this; the fool does not understand this. The stupid man cannot know; the fool cannot understand this: Senseless people do not know, fools do not understand,
When the wicked sprout up like grass, and all the evildoers glisten, it is so that they may be annihilated. that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction forever; that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
But you, O LORD, reign forever! but you, O LORD, are on high forever. But you, LORD, are forever exalted.
Indeed, look at your enemies, O LORD! Indeed, look at how your enemies perish! All the evildoers are scattered! For behold, your enemies, O LORD, for behold, your enemies shall perish; all evildoers shall be scattered. For surely your enemies, LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
You exalt my horn like that of a wild ox. I am covered with fresh oil. But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil. You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.
I gloat in triumph over those who tried to ambush me; I hear the defeated cries of the evil foes who attacked me. My eyes have seen the downfall of my enemies; my ears have heard the doom of my evil assailants. My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
The godly grow like a palm tree; they grow high like a cedar in Lebanon. The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
Planted in the LORD's house, they grow in the courts of our God. They are planted in the house of the LORD; they flourish in the courts of our God. planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green, They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,
So they proclaim that the LORD, my protector, is just and never unfair. to declare that the LORD is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. proclaiming, “The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”
