Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, who leads Joseph like a flock; You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. 2 before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Rally Your mighty power and come to save us. Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might and come to save us! before Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh. Awaken your might; come and save us.
3 Restore us, O God, and cause Your face to shine upon us, that we may be saved. Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved! Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
4 O LORD God of Hosts, how long will Your anger smolder against the prayers of Your people? O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry with your people’s prayers? How long, LORD God Almighty, will your anger smolder against the prayers of your people?
5 You fed them with the bread of tears and made them drink the full measure of their tears. You have fed them with the bread of tears and given them tears to drink in full measure. You have fed them with the bread of tears; you have made them drink tears by the bowlful.
6 You make us contend with our neighbors; our enemies mock us. You make us an object of contention for our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. You have made us an object of derision to our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.
7 Restore us, O God of Hosts, and cause Your face to shine upon us, that we may be saved. Restore us, O God of hosts; let your face shine, that we may be saved! Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
8 You uprooted a vine from Egypt; You drove out the nations and transplanted it. You brought a vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it. You transplanted a vine from Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it.
9 You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land. You cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. You cleared the ground for it, and it took root and filled the land.

14 Return, O God of Hosts, we pray! Look down from heaven and see! Attend to this vine— Turn again, O God of hosts! Look down from heaven, and see; have regard for this vine, Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine,
15 the root Your right hand has planted, the son You have raised up for Yourself. the stock that your right hand planted, and for the son whom you made strong for yourself. the root your right hand has planted, the son you have raised up for yourself.
16 Your vine has been cut down and burned; they perish at the rebuke of Your countenance. They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of your face! Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire; at your rebuke your people perish.
17 Let Your hand be upon the man at Your right hand, on the son of man You have raised up for Yourself. But let your hand be on the man of your right hand, the son of man whom you have made strong for yourself! Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand, the son of man you have raised up for yourself.
18 Then we will not turn away from You; revive us, and we will call on Your name. Then we shall not turn back from you; give us life, and we will call upon your name! Then we will not turn away from you; revive us, and we will call on your name.
19 Restore us, O LORD God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine upon us, that we may be saved. Restore us, O LORD God of hosts! Let your face shine, that we may be saved! Restore us, LORD God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved.
