For the one directing. A Psalm of David. A Song. To You praise is waiting, O God, in Zion, and to You the vow will be fulfilled. Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed. For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song. Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.
O Hearer of prayer, to You all flesh will come. O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come. You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
Matters of iniquities prevail against me—our transgressions, You wipe them away! When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions. When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
Blessed is the one You choose and bring near, that he may dwell in Your courts; we will be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, the holiness of Your temple. Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple! Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
With fearsome things, may You answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, the confidence for all the farthest ends of the earth and the sea, By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
the One establishing the mountains by His strength, being girded with might, the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
stilling the roaring of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples. who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
And those dwelling at the ends were afraid of Your signs; the goings forth of morning and evening You cause to sing. so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy. The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
You attend to the earth and give it abundance; greatly You enrich it; the stream of God is full of water; You provide their grain when thus You prepare it— You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.
soaking its furrows, descending on its ridges; with showers You soften it; its springing up You bless. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your tracks drip with fatness. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.
They drip on the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills are surrounded with joy. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
The meadows are clothed with the flock, and the valleys are feeble with grain—they shout for joy and even sing. the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
