Rejoice in the LORD, righteous ones; for the praise of the upright is beautiful. Shout for joy in the LORD, O you righteous! Praise befits the upright. Sing joyfully to the LORD, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him.
With the lyre, give thanks to the LORD; with the ten stringed harp, play music to him; Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre; make melody to him with the harp of ten strings! Praise the LORD with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
with a new song, sing to him; with shouts of joy, play skillfully. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.
For the word of the LORD is upright; and all his works are done in faithfulness. For the word of the LORD is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.
He loves righteousness and justice; the world is filled with the gracious love of the LORD. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the LORD. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
By the word of the LORD the heavens were made; all the heavenly bodies by the breath of his mouth. By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host. By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
He gathered the oceans into a single place; he put the deep water into storehouses. He gathers the waters of the sea as a heap; he puts the deeps in storehouses. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses.
Let all the world fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him; Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the people of the world revere him.
because he spoke and it came to be, because he commanded, it stood firm. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
The LORD makes void the counsel of nations; he frustrates the plans of peoples. The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; he frustrates the plans of the peoples. The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.
But the LORD's counsel stands firm forever, the plans in his mind for all generations. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
How blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he has chosen as his own inheritance. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.
When the LORD looks down from heaven, he observes every human being. The LORD looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; From heaven the LORD looks down and sees all mankind;
From his dwelling place, he looks down on all the inhabitants of the earth. from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth—
He formed the hearts of them all; he understands everything they do. he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.
A king is not saved by a large army; a mighty soldier is not delivered by his great strength. The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength.
It is vain to trust in a horse for deliverance, even with its great strength, it cannot deliver. The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save.
Indeed, the LORD watches those who fear him; those who trust in his gracious love Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,
to deliver them from death; to keep them alive in times of famine. that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
We wait on the LORD; he is our help and our shield. Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield.
Indeed, our heart will rejoice in him, because we have placed our trust in his holy name. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name.
LORD, may your gracious love be upon us, even as we hope in you. Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you. May your unfailing love be with us, LORD, even as we put our hope in you.
