A Psalm of David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul. To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. Of David. In you, LORD my God, I put my trust.
O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me.
For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths. Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting. Remember your mercy, O LORD, and your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Remember, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O LORD! Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, LORD, are good.
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek his covenant and his testimonies. All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies. All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
For thy name's sake, O Lord, do thou also be merciful to my sin; for it is great. For your name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my guilt, for it is great. For the sake of your name, LORD, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
Who is the man that fears the Lord? he shall instruct him in the way which he has chosen. Who is the man who fears the LORD? Him will he instruct in the way that he should choose. Who, then, are those who fear the LORD? He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.
His soul shall dwell in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the earth. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. They will spend their days in prosperity, and their descendants will inherit the land.
The Lord is the strength of them that fear him; and his covenant is to manifest truth to them. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.
Mine eyes are continually to the Lord; for he shall draw my feet out of the snare. My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
Look upon me, and have mercy upon me; for I am an only child and poor. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted. Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
The afflictions of my heart have been multiplied; deliver me from my distresses. The troubles of my heart are enlarged; bring me out of my distresses. Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.
Look upon mine affliction and my trouble; and forgive all my sins. Consider my affliction and my trouble, and forgive all my sins. Look on my affliction and my distress and take away all my sins.
Look upon mine enemies; for they have been multiplied; and they have hated me with unjust hatred. Consider how many are my foes, and with what violent hatred they hate me. See how numerous are my enemies and how fiercely they hate me!
Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I have hoped in thee. Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you. Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
The harmless and upright joined themselves to me: for I waited for thee, O Lord. May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you. May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you.
Deliver Israel, O God, out of all his afflictions. Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. Deliver Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
