Keep me safe, God, for I take refuge in you. Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge. A miktam of David. Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.
I told the LORD, |You are my master, I have nothing good apart from you.| I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”
As for the saints that are in the land, they are noble, and all my delight is in them. As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight. I say of the holy people who are in the land, “They are the noble ones in whom is all my delight.”
Those who hurry after another god will have many sorrows; I will not present their drink offerings of blood, nor will my lips speak their names. The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names on my lips. Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips.
The LORD is my inheritance and my cup; you support my lot. The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot. LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen in pleasant places for me; truly, I have a beautiful heritage. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will bless the LORD who has counseled me; indeed, my conscience instructs me during the night. I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
I have set the LORD before me continuously; because he stands at my right hand, I will stand firm. I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore, my heart is glad, my whole being rejoices, and my body will dwell securely. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, you will not allow your holy one to experience corruption. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption. because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.
You cause me to know the path of life; in your presence is joyful abundance, at your right hand there are pleasures forever. You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
