1 לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃ עַד־ אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־ אָ֓נָה ׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־ פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? For the director of music. A psalm of David. How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 עַד־ אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־ אָ֓נָה ׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃ How long must I take counsel in my soul and have sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall my enemy be exalted over me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־ אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃ Consider and answer me, O LORD my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death, Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 פֶּן־ יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכָלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃ lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him,” lest my foes rejoice because I am shaken. and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַיהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃ I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me. I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.
