1 I love Yahweh, because He hears My voice and my supplications. I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy.
2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, So I shall call upon Him in all my days. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
3 The cords of death encompassed me And the distresses of Sheol found me; I found distress and sorrow. The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish. The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came over me; I was overcome by distress and sorrow.
4 Then I called upon the name of Yahweh: “O Yahweh, I beseech You, provide my soul escape!” Then I called on the name of the LORD: “O LORD, I pray, deliver my soul!” Then I called on the name of the LORD: “LORD, save me!”
5 Gracious is Yahweh, and righteous; And our God is compassionate. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful. The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion.
6 Yahweh keeps the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me. The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me. The LORD protects the unwary; when I was brought low, he saved me.
7 Return to your rest, O my soul, For Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you. Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has been good to you.
8 For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling. For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; For you, LORD, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling,
9 I shall walk before Yahweh In the land of the living. I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
10 I believed when I said, “I am greatly afflicted.” I believed, even when I spoke: “I am greatly afflicted”; I trusted in the LORD when I said, “I am greatly afflicted|;
11 I said in my alarm, “All men are liars.” I said in my alarm, “All mankind are liars.” in my alarm I said, “Everyone is a liar.”
12 What shall I give to Yahweh in return For all His bountiful dealings with me? What shall I render to the LORD for all his benefits to me? What shall I return to the LORD for all his goodness to me?
13 I shall lift up the cup of salvation And call upon the name of Yahweh. I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD, I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD.
14 I shall pay my vows to Yahweh, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people. I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people. I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of Yahweh Is the death of His holy ones. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.
16 O Yahweh, surely I am Your slave, I am Your slave, the son of Your maidservant, You have loosed my bonds. O LORD, I am your servant; I am your servant, the son of your maidservant. You have loosed my bonds. Truly I am your servant, LORD; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.
17 To You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of Yahweh. I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD. I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD.
18 I shall pay my vows to Yahweh, Oh may it be in the presence of all His people, I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people, I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people,
19 In the courts of the house of Yahweh, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise Yah! in the courts of the house of the LORD, in your midst, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD! in the courts of the house of the LORD— in your midst, Jerusalem. Praise the LORD.
