Not to us, O Lord, not to us; but to thy name give glory. Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.
For thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake: lest the gentiles should say: Where is their God? Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?”
But our God is in heaven: he hath done all things whatsoever he would. Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases. Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.
The idols of the gentiles are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of human hands. But their idols are silver and gold, made by human hands.
They have mouths and speak not: they have eyes and see not. They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears and hear not: they have noses and smell not. They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell. They have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell.
They have hands and feel not: they have feet and walk not: neither shall they cry out through their throat. They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat. They have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but cannot walk, nor can they utter a sound with their throats.
Let them that make them become like unto them: and all such as trust in them. Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.
The house of Israel hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector. O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. All you Israelites, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
The house of Aaron hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector. O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. House of Aaron, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
They that fear the Lord hath hoped in the Lord: he is their helper and their protector. You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield. You who fear him, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
The Lord hath been mindful of us, and hath blessed us. He hath blessed the house of Israel: he hath blessed the house of Aaron. The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron; The LORD remembers us and will bless us: He will bless his people Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,
He hath blessed all that fear the Lord, both little and great. he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great. he will bless those who fear the LORD— small and great alike.
May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your children. May the LORD give you increase, you and your children! May the LORD cause you to flourish, both you and your children.
Blessed be you of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth! May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
The heaven of heaven is the Lord's: but the earth he has given to the children of men. The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man. The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.
The dead shall not praise thee, O Lord: nor any of them that go down to hell. The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence. It is not the dead who praise the LORD, those who go down to the place of silence;
But we that live bless the Lord: from this time now and for ever. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD! it is we who extol the LORD, both now and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
