70 Ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς Ἰησοῦς Οὐκ ἐγὼ ὑμᾶς τοὺς δώδεκα ἐξελεξάμην καὶ ἐξ ὑμῶν εἷς διάβολός ἐστιν Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.” Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”
71 ἔλεγεν δὲ τὸν Ἰούδαν Σίμωνος Ἰσκαριώτου οὗτος γὰρ ἔμελλεν παραδιδόναι αὐτόν εἷς ἐκ τῶν δώδεκα He spoke of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray him. (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)
