| 9 | Καὶ εὐθέως ἐγένετο ὑγιὴς ὁ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἦρεν τὸν κράβαττον αὐτοῦ καὶ περιεπάτει Ἦν δὲ σάββατον ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ | And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. | 10 | ἔλεγον οὖν οἱ Ἰουδαῖοι τῷ τεθεραπευμένῳ Σάββατόν ἐστιν καὶ οὐκ ἔξεστίν σοι ἆραι τὸν κράβαττον [σου] | So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.” | and so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.” | |
