1 Now Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is opposite Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land, from Gilead to Dan, Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land, Gilead as far as Dan, Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the LORD showed him the whole land—from Gilead to Dan,
2 and all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah to the western sea (Mediterranean Sea), all Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the western sea, all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea,
3 and the Negev (South country) and the plain in the Valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. the Negeb, and the Plain, that is, the Valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar. the Negev and the whole region from the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
4 Then the LORD said to him, “This is the land which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.” And the LORD said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, ‘I will give it to your offspring.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there.” Then the LORD said to him, “This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it.”
5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD, And Moses the servant of the LORD died there in Moab, as the LORD had said.

7 Although Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, his eyesight was not dim, nor his natural strength abated. Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated. Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.
8 So the sons of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days; then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. And the people of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days. Then the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning was over.
9 Now Joshua the son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him; so the sons of Israel listened to him and did as the LORD commanded Moses. And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him and did as the LORD had commanded Moses. Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the LORD had commanded Moses.
10 Since that time no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, And there has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
11 [none equal to him] in all the signs and wonders which the LORD sent him to perform in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, all his servants, and all his land, none like him for all the signs and the wonders that the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land, who did all those signs and wonders the LORD sent him to do in Egypt—to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land.
12 and in all the mighty power and all the great and terrible deeds which Moses performed in the sight of all Israel. and for all the mighty power and all the great deeds of terror that Moses did in the sight of all Israel. For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
