1To the Chief Musician. To [i]the tune of[/i] “Death of the Son.” A Psalm of David. I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

1For the director of music. To the tune of "The Death of the Son." A psalm of David. I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

2I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

3When my enemies turn back, They shall fall and perish at Your presence.

4For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging in righteousness.

5You have rebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked; You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
