New King James VersionNET Bible
A Prayer of David. Bow down Your ear, O LORD, hear me; For I am poor and needy.1A prayer of David. Listen O LORD! Answer me! For I am oppressed and needy.
Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!2Protect me, for I am loyal! O my God, deliver your servant, who trusts in you!
Be merciful to me, O Lord, For I cry to You all day long.3Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I cry out to you all day long!
Rejoice the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.4Make your servant glad, for to you, O Lord, I pray!
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.5Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.
Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications.6O LORD, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for mercy!
In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.7In my time of trouble I cry out to you, for you will answer me.
Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.8None can compare to you among the gods, O Lord! Your exploits are incomparable!
All nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name.9All the nations, whom you created, will come and worship you, O Lord. They will honor your name.
For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.10For you are great and do amazing things. You alone are God.
Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.11O LORD, teach me how you want me to live! Then I will obey your commands. Make me wholeheartedly committed to you!
I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.12O Lord, my God, I will give you thanks with my whole heart! I will honor your name continually!
For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.13For you will extend your great loyal love to me, and will deliver my life from the depths of Sheol.
O God, the proud have risen against me, And a mob of violent men have sought my life, And have not set You before them.14O God, arrogant men attack me; a gang of ruthless men, who do not respect you, seek my life.
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.15But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient and demonstrate great loyal love and faithfulness.
Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to Your servant, And save the son of Your maidservant.16Turn toward me and have mercy on me! Give your servant your strength! Deliver your slave!
Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, LORD, have helped me and comforted me.17Show me evidence of your favor! Then those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, for you, O LORD, will help me and comfort me.
