NET Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleNew Living Translation
For the music director; a psalm of David, a song. Praise awaits you, O God, in Zion. Vows made to you are fulfilled. 1What mighty praise, O God, belongs to you in Zion. We will fulfill our vows to you,
You hear prayers; all people approach you. 2for you answer our prayers. All of us must come to you.
Our record of sins overwhelms me, but you forgive our acts of rebellion. 3Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, you forgive them all.
How blessed is the one whom you choose, and allow to live in your palace courts. May we be satisfied with the good things of your house--your holy palace. 4What joy for those you choose to bring near, those who live in your holy courts. What festivities await us inside your holy Temple.
You answer our prayers by performing awesome acts of deliverance, O God, our savior. All the ends of the earth trust in you, as well as those living across the wide seas. 5You faithfully answer our prayers with awesome deeds, O God our savior. You are the hope of everyone on earth, even those who sail on distant seas.
You created the mountains by your power, and demonstrated your strength. 6You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength.
You calm the raging seas and their roaring waves, as well as the commotion made by the nations. 7You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves and silenced the shouting of the nations.
Even those living in the most remote areas are awestruck by your acts; you cause those living in the east and west to praise you. 8Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.
You visit the earth and give it rain; you make it rich and fertile with overflowing streams full of water. You provide grain for them, for you prepare the earth to yield its crops. 9You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.
You saturate its furrows, and soak its plowed ground. With rain showers you soften its soil, and make its crops grow. 10You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops.
You crown the year with your good blessings, and you leave abundance in your wake. 11You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.
The pastures in the wilderness glisten with moisture, and the hills are clothed with joy. 12The grasslands of the wilderness become a lush pasture, and the hillsides blossom with joy.
The meadows are clothed with sheep, and the valleys are covered with grain. They shout joyfully, yes, they sing. 13The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep, and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!
