NET Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleInternational Standard Version
A psalm of Asaph. God stands in the assembly of El; in the midst of the gods he renders judgment. 1 God takes his stand in the divine assembly; among the divine beings he renders judgment:
He says, "How long will you make unjust legal decisions and show favoritism to the wicked? (Selah) 2"How long will you judge partially by showing favor on the wicked? Interlude
Defend the cause of the poor and the fatherless! Vindicate the oppressed and suffering! 3"Defend the poor and the fatherless. Vindicate the afflicted and the poor.
Rescue the poor and needy! Deliver them from the power of the wicked! 4Rescue the poor and the needy, delivering them from the power of the wicked.
They neither know nor understand. They stumble around in the dark, while all the foundations of the earth crumble. 5They neither know nor understand; they walk about in the dark while all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
I thought, 'You are gods; all of you are sons of the Most High.' 6"Indeed I said, 'You are gods, and all of you are sons of the Most High.
Yet you will die like mortals; you will fall like all the other rulers." 7However, as all human beings do, you will die, and like other rulers, you will fall.'
Rise up, O God, and execute judgment on the earth! For you own all the nations. 8Arise, God, to judge the earth, for all nations belong to you.
