Song of Solomon 7
NET Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleEnglish Standard Version
How beautiful are your sandaled feet, O nobleman's daughter! The curves of your thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a master craftsman. 1How beautiful are your feet in sandals, O noble daughter! Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of a master hand.
Your navel is a round mixing bowl--may it never lack mixed wine! Your belly is a mound of wheat, encircled by lilies. 2Your navel is a rounded bowl that never lacks mixed wine. Your belly is a heap of wheat, encircled with lilies.
Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle. 3Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.
Your neck is like a tower made of ivory. Your eyes are the pools in Heshbon by the gate of Bath-Rabbim. Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon overlooking Damascus. 4Your neck is like an ivory tower. Your eyes are pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bath-rabbim. Your nose is like a tower of Lebanon, which looks toward Damascus.
Your head crowns you like Mount Carmel. The locks of your hair are like royal tapestries--the king is held captive in its tresses! 5Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your flowing locks are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.
How beautiful you are! How lovely, O love, with your delights! 6How beautiful and pleasant you are, O loved one, with all your delights!
Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like clusters of grapes. 7Your stature is like a palm tree, and your breasts are like its clusters.
I want to climb the palm tree, and take hold of its fruit stalks. May your breasts be like the clusters of grapes, and may the fragrance of your breath be like apricots! 8I say I will climb the palm tree and lay hold of its fruit. Oh may your breasts be like clusters of the vine, and the scent of your breath like apples,
May your mouth be like the best wine, flowing smoothly for my beloved, gliding gently over our lips as we sleep together. 9and your mouth like the best wine. She It goes down smoothly for my beloved, gliding over lips and teeth.
I am my beloved's, and he desires me! 10I am my beloved’s, and his desire is for me.
Come, my beloved, let us go to the countryside; let us spend the night in the villages. 11Come, my beloved, let us go out into the fields and lodge in the villages;
Let us rise early to go to the vineyards, to see if the vines have budded, to see if their blossoms have opened, if the pomegranates are in bloom--there I will give you my love. 12let us go out early to the vineyards and see whether the vines have budded, whether the grape blossoms have opened and the pomegranates are in bloom. There I will give you my love.
The mandrakes send out their fragrance; over our door is every delicacy, both new and old, which I have stored up for you, my lover. 13The mandrakes give forth fragrance, and beside our doors are all choice fruits, new as well as old, which I have laid up for you, O my beloved.
